Heathrow Terminal 4 transfers are

from the rest of Heathrow, on the south side of the airfield in its own
building, and handles long-haul and European carriers including KLM, Air
France, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways and Malaysia Airlines. Because the
terminal sits away from the Central Terminal Area, a car that comes straight to
its door saves the shuttle ride other transport requires.
Westway Ride runs Terminal 4 pick up with
a licensed chauffeur who tracks your inbound flight, waits in the arrivals hall
with a name board, and drives you door to door in a Mercedes. Central London
lies roughly 16 miles away, a run of 45 to 60 minutes in normal
traffic via the Southern Perimeter Road and the M4 or M25. Fares start from £110,
and every booking includes flight tracking, free waiting and luggage help as
standard.
Rail alternatives exist. The Elizabeth line and the Piccadilly line both call at T4, though the Heathrow Express does not, and neither train delivers you to your front door. Transport for London licenses every private hire operator working the airport, Westway Ride among them.

Pick up at T4 follows a short,
predictable path. After landing you clear UK Border Force on the ground
floor, collect your cases from the carousels, and follow the green customs exit
into the arrivals concourse. Your chauffeur stands there with the name board,
takes the luggage, and walks you to the car. T4 has a single arrivals hall, so
the meeting point is the same whichever airline carried you. No taxi rank
queue, no rideshare app, no hunting for a signposted zone.
Drivers are assigned specifically to this
terminal. T4 has its own road access off the southern approach, so nobody
circles the wrong forecourt while you stand waiting. And if the airline
switches your flight to another terminal, one message redirects the car at no
charge.
Drop off for departures
Departures reverse the process. We collect you from your address,
time the run backwards from your check-in, and set you down at the departures
forecourt on the first-floor level. The set-down point sits steps from the
check-in desks, reached from the southern approach rather than through the
central campus. Whichever direction you travel, the fare never moves with the
traffic, so the next question is what that fare is.

Most SkyTeam members, including Air France, KLM and Korean Air, along with Qatar Airways, Etihad, Malaysia Airlines, Gulf Air and Saudia. Airlines move between terminals periodically, so confirm the terminal on your boarding pass.
On the south side of the airport, separate from Terminals 2 and 3 in the Central Terminal Area. It has its own road access and its own Underground station, and there is no walking route to the other terminals.
By free bus or the Underground rather than on foot, since T4 is a genuine distance from the central terminals. Allow real time for it, which is why arriving at the wrong terminal is more costly here than between T2 and T3.
Yes, straight to T4 rather than to the central area. This is the practical advantage of a car at this terminal: you are collected where you land and never cross the airport, which is not true of some other transport.
