VIP Chauffeur Service London
Discreet VIP chauffeur service from Westway Ride. NDA on every engagement, screened chauffeurs, private terminal transfers and a named handler. From £75/hr
Discretion comes first
A VIP chauffeur service is built for
people whose profile changes what a journey has to do. The vehicle still has to
be immaculate and the driver still has to be on time, but the harder
requirements are elsewhere: who knows where you are going, which entrance you
use, who is waiting outside it, and whether anything said in the back of the
car goes anywhere afterwards. Westway Ride runs this as part of our chauffeur services
network.
Pricing starts at £75 an hour in a
Mercedes S-Class and £85 in a Range Rover, with Rolls-Royce and
specialist requirements quoted on application. Enquiries are handled by a named
person rather than a booking form, which matters when the enquiry itself is
sensitive and is being made by a PA, a family office or a security adviser rather
than the principal.
We do not publish client names, discuss
engagements or photograph vehicles on assignment. That is not a marketing
position; it is the product. Availability runs 24 hours a day across London,
all five London airports including the Windsor Suite at Heathrow, and
the private aviation terminals at Farnborough, Biggin Hill and Luton.
DISCRETION, AND HOW IT IS ENFORCED
Discretion works when it is
contractual rather than cultural. Every VIP engagement begins with a non-disclosure
agreement covering identity, destination, schedule, companions and anything
overheard in the vehicle. The chauffeur signs before the first mile.
The operating rules follow from it.
Chauffeurs do not discuss clients, do not post anything, do not photograph
vehicles or venues, and keep their phone face down throughout. If a member of
the public or the press asks who they are collecting, the answer is nothing at
all.
Data handling is the other half. Booking
details are encrypted in transit and at rest, retention is kept to the minimum,
nothing is shared with third parties, and records are purged on request.
Embassies, family offices and legal teams tend to ask about this before they
ask about the cars.

WHERE A CHAUFFEUR’S ROLE ENDS
This is worth being precise about,
because the category is full of language that blurs it. A chauffeur is not a
close protection officer. Close protection in the UK is a licensed
activity, and anyone providing it must hold the relevant Security Industry
Authority licence. We do not offer close protection, and any operator implying
otherwise is worth a second question.
What we do provide is a chauffeur trained
to work alongside your protection team. Your CPO can travel in the front
seat or in an advance or follow vehicle, radio contact is maintained, and
route, venue approach and departure procedures are agreed with your security
adviser before the day rather than improvised at the kerb.
Our chauffeurs hold enhanced DBS
clearance as standard, with BS 7858 personnel security screening available
where a client’s own standards require it, alongside advanced and defensive
driver training. Where a principal travels under a formal threat assessment, we
work to the vehicle and routing specification your adviser sets rather than
substituting our judgement for theirs.

Everything you need to know about our chauffeur service.
A contractual NDA on every engagement, security screening beyond the baseline, media-avoidance routing, coordination with your protection team, rear privacy glass as standard, Windsor Suite and private aviation handling, and a named handler rather than a booking system.
Yes, before the engagement begins. It covers identity, destination, schedule, companions and every conversation in the vehicle, and it is not optional on VIP work.
Enhanced DBS clearance is standard across the fleet, with BS 7858 personnel security screening available where your own standards or your adviser’s require it. Screening level is agreed before assignment rather than assumed.
Yes, and that is the correct arrangement. Close protection is an SIA-licensed activity and we do not provide it, so your CPO team leads on security while our chauffeur handles the vehicle, working to protocols agreed with them in advance.
Yes. We coordinate Windsor Suite bookings at Heathrow and provide the ground transport, and cover Farnborough, Biggin Hill and Luton for private aviation, with airside access arranged where the operator’s authorisation allows.
From £75 an hour in an S-Class and £85 in a Range Rover, with Rolls-Royce and specialist requirements quoted on application. Multi-vehicle and multi-day programmes are priced as a whole.
It depends whether the car should be noticed. The Phantom is for being seen and the S-Class is for not being seen, with the Range Rover between the two. Your handler will recommend based on the engagement rather than the budget.
Yes. Vehicle positioning is agreed with your PR team, the chauffeur times the door, and the departure route is planned before the principal arrives rather than worked out afterwards.
