Met inside arrivals with your name on a board

No taxi rank, no searching the kerb. Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall, name board in hand, ready to take your bags.

Westway Ride chauffeur car for meet greet airport transfers

Airport meet and greet means your chauffeur leaves the car, comes into the building and waits in the arrivals hall holding a name board. The alternative is a kerbside pickup, where a car cannot legally wait and you are found by phone. Westway Ride includes it on every airport collection, under Transport for London licence 73850301.

What your driver does while you clear the airport

The work begins before you land. Your driver is given the flight number, so the arrival is followed from departure rather than taken from the schedule, and aims to be inside before the aircraft is on stand. They then pay to park and walk in, a cost carried in the fare rather than added to it. Passport control and baggage reclaim can take twenty minutes or comfortably beyond an hour, which is why 60 minutes of waiting runs from touchdown rather than from your scheduled time.

When you come through, the driver takes the heavy bags and walks you to the car. Each terminal has its own arrivals hall, so the flight number matters more than the airline name. The service runs identically at Heathrow, Gatwick and on every London airport transfer we run, including the private terminals. Departures reverse it: collection from your door to your terminal's own entrance.

Everything you need to know about your airport transfer.

It is when your chauffeur parks, enters the terminal and waits inside the arrivals hall with a name board, rather than messaging you from a car park or a pickup bay. They then help with the luggage and walk you to the car. It is the standard way we handle every airport collection.

In the arrivals hall of your terminal, standing near the exit from customs where passengers come through, holding a board with your name on it. Because each terminal has its own hall, we use your flight number to know which one to send the driver to.

Included, on every airport pickup. The driver's parking and the time spent waiting inside are already inside the fare you are quoted, so there is no separate meet and greet fee and nothing to settle on the day.

A kerbside pickup keeps the driver outside, where cars are not allowed to wait, so you are found by phone and often after a lap of the airport. Meet and greet puts the driver inside the building before you emerge, which removes the phone calls, the waiting in weather, and the confusion over which door you came out of.

Call the number on your confirmation and we will put you in direct contact. Drivers stay in the hall rather than wandering, so in practice you are usually looking for a board within a few paces of the customs exit. We would rather you rang immediately than searched.

Yes, that is part of the service. Your driver takes the heavy cases from the point you meet and loads them into the car. Tell us the case count when booking so the vehicle sent is the right size for what you are carrying.

Up to 60 minutes from the moment the aircraft lands, at no charge. That window exists because immigration and baggage reclaim frequently take most of an hour, and you should not be paying for the airport's queues.

The pickup moves with the aircraft. Since your driver has the flight number and tracks it live, a delayed landing simply means a later meeting, at no extra cost, and an early landing usually means the board is already up when you walk out.

Yes, at Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, London City and Southend, plus the private terminals at Farnborough and Biggin Hill. The meeting point differs by building, which is the reason we ask for the flight number rather than just the airline.

Yes, and this is common for clients, relatives and colleagues. Give us their name for the board and a contact number, and we will confirm to you once they are in the car. It is a straightforward way to look after an arriving guest who does not know the airport.

Yes. Tell us at the time of booking and the driver will be told what to expect and where to wait. For an unaccompanied minor the airline handles the handover itself, so let us know so the timings match their process rather than the general arrivals flow.

Departures work the other way round: the driver collects you from home or your office and sets you down at your terminal's own departures entrance rather than a shared drop-off point. There is no name board involved, but the timing is still built around your flight.

No, it is inside the fare. Airports charge vehicles to enter and to use their car parks, and that cost is accounted for when you are quoted, so the figure you agree at booking is the figure you pay.

It is applied automatically to any airport arrival, so there is nothing extra to select. What we do need is the flight number and the name to display on the board, both of which are asked for at the time of booking.
