Cardiff concentrates a lot into a small
footprint. Welsh Government sits at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay, the Principality
Stadium empties a capacity crowd into the middle of the city on match days, and
Cardiff Castle, the Wales Millennium Centre, St David’s Hall and Sophia Gardens
fill the calendar around it. The commercial centre runs from Queen Street out
to the Bay waterfront and the business parks along the A48.
Two local factors shape every journey.
Wales dropped its default limit on restricted roads to 20mph in September
2023, a change now covering around 37% of the Welsh network, so city-centre
journey times run longer here than in an English city of similar size. And the
Principality Stadium closes Westgate Street and the surrounding roads on event
days, which turns a five-minute drop-off into a twenty-minute one for anybody
who hasn’t planned it. Our airport transfers
reach Cardiff Airport in 20 to 30 minutes on the A48 and A4050, with a DBS-checked
chauffeur and 60 minutes of complimentary waiting on every arrival.

Pricing is fixed at booking and inclusive of VAT, tolls and
applicable parking. One clarification worth making: there is no longer a
toll on the Prince of Wales Bridge. Charges on both Severn crossings were
abolished in December 2018, so a Cardiff to Bristol run carries no bridge fee
from either direction.

Hourly hire runs on a two-hour minimum, and long-distance journeys carry a single fixed sum set by distance and vehicle class. VAT, tolls and parking sit inside the quote, so nothing follows by invoice.

No. Tolls on both Severn crossings ended in December 2018, so journeys between Cardiff and Bristol cross free of charge in either direction. No bridge fee appears on your quote.
