Hourly hire starts at £55, and the car stays with you until you release it, waiting between stops as directed. Day rates save money on longer bookings: a four-hour half day runs from £220, and a full eight-hour day costs £420, which is less than paying for eight separate hours. Point-to-point journeys get a fixed fare instead, quoted in writing from distance, vehicle class and pickup time, with London to Paris by road from £1,300.
Sightseeing is priced upfront too, with a half-day London itinerary from £350 and Stonehenge and Bath in a day from £550. So which should you book?
Choose hourly hire when your day has three or more stops or a meeting with no fixed finish. A single trip to a known address costs less on a fixed fare. Airport runs are the most common fixed-fare journey, and they're covered next.
